James Baldwin Literary Circle

On August 12,1924 one of one of America's greatest and most influential literary icons, critical thinkers, provocative writers, relentless seekers of truth was born. To celebrate his centenary, vists, you are invited to join the JAMES BALDWIN LITERARY CIRCLE.  From Septemer 2025 to September 2026, we will meet monthly to explore his shorter essays and longer works, not limited to but including Notes of a Native Son and Go Tell It on the Mountain. Join us as we explore themes of race, class, gender and sexuality through the lens of one of our greatest and most provocative writers.
